Being a teenager can come with a lot of expectations. Keep up at school. Get along with people. Make decisions about your future. Somehow know what you’re doing.
KINETIX offers free, one-to-one online support and practical mentoring for young people aged 14–17. You can talk about what’s happening, ask questions and work on things you’d like to feel more confident doing.
You don’t need a big goal or a clear explanation of what’s wrong. “I’m not sure where to start” is enough.
Free · Ages 14–17 · Online · No referral needed

Maybe things have felt difficult lately. Maybe you’re feeling left out, or unsure about what comes next. Or perhaps there’s something you want to do, but getting started feels overwhelming.
Youth support gives you time with someone who wants to understand your perspective and what matters to you.
You can talk about school, friendships, home, your future or something you haven’t quite found the words for yet. There’s room for your interests, ideas and the things that are going well, too.
You don’t have to share everything. We can take time to get to know each other.
You’re allowed to have your own interests, opinions and plans, even while you’re still figuring them out.
Relationships can be confusing, especially when you’re dealing with arguments, pressure, changing friendships or feeling left out.
We can talk through what’s happening, think about boundaries and practise ways to say what you need.
If you need further support, we can also explore who might be able to help.
You might be finding it hard to keep up, struggling to get started on assignments or feeling pressure to decide your future.
We can break tasks into smaller pieces, try a study routine or explore education and work options.
There’s no expectation that you should already know what you want to do.
Sometimes everything piles up. Other times, you might feel upset or frustrated without knowing exactly why.
We can talk things through and explore everyday ways to manage stress, recognise when you need a break and ask for support.

Things that adults call “basic” aren’t always easy, especially when nobody has shown you how.
We can work on budgeting, organising appointments, planning your week or understanding forms.
You can ask questions and practise without being expected to get it right straight away.
You might have something you want to achieve but keep putting it off, lose track of your plan or feel unsure about the first step.
We can work out a starting point, try different approaches and adjust things when they aren’t helping.
A goal can be as small as replying to an email you’ve been avoiding.
Meeting someone new can feel awkward. You don’t need to know exactly what to say.
We’ll start by getting to know each other and talking about what brought you here. I’ll explain how sessions work, your privacy and any consent arrangements. You’ll have time to ask questions, too.
You can let me know if you need a break, want something explained differently or aren’t ready to discuss a topic.

You can say exactly that. I can help you find a starting point, and there’s time to think before you answer.
Before sessions begin, we’ll discuss the consent arrangements needed for your circumstances and explain how a parent or guardian may be involved.
If involving them worries you, you can ask about this before sharing personal details.
We can discuss other services that may be more suitable if needed. Youth mentoring has limits, and some concerns need specialist support.
KINETIX provides free online support and practical mentoring for young people aged 14–17, with a focus on their voice, goals and everyday skills.
You’re welcome to ask about the service or help a young person express interest. Their willingness to participate matters, and they should be involved in decisions about their support.
Before sessions begin, we’ll discuss suitability, consent, privacy and how family involvement will work.
Appointments are currently at capacity. Registering your interest means I can contact you when a space becomes available so we can talk about whether KINETIX feels right for you.
KINETIX isn’t a crisis or emergency service, and messages aren’t monitored continuously.
Please don’t wait for an appointment or reply if you need urgent help.

I'm the founder of KINETIX, a counsellor and mentor, and the person you’ll meet with.
I want you to feel comfortable asking questions, saying when something doesn’t make sense and telling me if an approach isn’t working for you.
I’ll take time to understand your circumstances and what you’d like support with - We can build from there, at a pace we agree on together.
KINETIX Youth Support is not a crisis or emergency service.
If you need urgent mental health or crisis support, please use one of the support services listed on our Resources page.
