Effective Date: April 1, 2026
By engaging the services of KINETIX, you (the Client) agree to the following terms and conditions. These terms ensure a professional, transparent, and effective working relationship.
1. Professional Scope of Service
1.1 Consulting Model
- KINETIX provides virtual psychosocial support and vocational consulting. This includes day-to-day mentoring and career-transition support.
Direct Support
- Services are provided directly to the individual. KINETIX does not provide multi-agency coordination or case management unless specifically agreed upon in a separate Service Agreement.
Not a Crisis Service
- KINETIX is a scheduled consultancy. We do not provide 24/7 crisis support. In an emergency, clients must contact 000 or relevant crisis helplines.
2. Online Service Delivery (Telehealth)
Platform
- All sessions are conducted via secure video conferencing or telephone.
Client Requirements
- To ensure session quality and confidentiality, the Client must be in a private, quiet space with a stable internet connection at the time of the appointment.
Technical Failure
- In the event of a technical failure on the part of KINETIX, the session will be rescheduled at no cost. If the failure is on the Client's end, the full session fee may still apply.
3. Fees and Payment
Rates
- Fees are billed at the current NDIS price guide rate or a flat private rate as quoted.
Payment Terms
- Private/Self-Managed: Invoices must be paid within 7 days of the session.
Plan-Managed: Invoices will be sent directly to the nominated Plan Manager.
- Late Payments: KINETIX reserves the right to pause services if invoices remain unpaid beyond the 14-day mark.
4. Cancellations and Rescheduling
Notice Period
- A minimum of 24 hours' notice is required to cancel or reschedule a session.
Late Cancellation Fee
- Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice (or "no-shows") will be charged at 100% of the session fee. This aligns with NDIS cancellation policies to ensure the viability of the practice.
5. Availability and Communication
Operating Days
- KINETIX operates on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. Saturdays are by appointment only.
- Wednesday Exclusion: No sessions or administrative responses are conducted on Wednesdays due to professional development and clinical training.
Response Times
- I aim to respond to all non-urgent inquiries within 48 business hours.
6. Confidentiality and Duty of Care
All sessions are confidential. However, as a professional consultant, I am legally obligated to break confidentiality if:
- There is a risk of serious harm to yourself or others.
- There is a legal requirement to disclose information (subpoena).
- You provide written consent to share information with a third party (e.g., an employer or GP).
7. Vocational Support Disclaimer
While KINETIX provides expert guidance on resumes, interview techniques, and career strategy, we do not guarantee employment. The success of vocational outcomes depends on the Client’s active participation and the requirements of the market.
8. Termination of Service
Either party may terminate the service at any time with written notice. Any outstanding fees for services already rendered must be paid in full upon termination.
